JMACTS as a cooperative believes in member’s needs, capacities and Participation in governing its business and management. The control is vested in General Body and Elected Board of Directors. The decisions are made democratic basis adhering to majority voting system. All members irrespective of share holding and other factors have equal votes i.e. one member-one vote, that too if they qualify for voting as stipulated in the byelaws and the Act. It consciously trains and educates its members, Board and staff in concepts, management and business for delivering their roles and responsibilities effectively. In order to consolidate democratic governance, it emphasizes on transparency and accountability in matters of governance and business.

JMACTS believes in financial viability and sustainability. However, it works towards providing services effectively and to the maximum extent at a reasonable cost, rather than on earning huge profits to be distributed among share holders. Hence, it costs all its capital items at a reasonable rate considering the interest rate prevailing on one year fixed deposits of banks and the inflation rate.

JMACTS believes that profit arises due to various factors and not simply capital. The prime contributors for profit are patronage of members and staff. Hence, it distributes profits giving due credit to all the above besides making provisions for sufficient reserves.
